Symptoms of depressive disorders can include:

- guilt
- apathy or boredom
- irritability
- low motivation
- anxiety
- lack of pleasure in life
- cognitive symptoms such as:
- mental dullness
- difficulty concentrating
- difficulty remembering
- thoughts about death or suicide
- and physical symptoms such as:
- changes in appetite or weight
- low energy or fatigue
- headaches and/or upset stomach
- sleep disruption
- slowed movements or speech
